As part of the continuing programme dedicated to ‘Women and Water’, the Atelier Melusine organized the exhibition of paintings, prints and collaborative research by Sally Annett : ‘De Melusine’ at Les Bains-Douches, Contemporary Arts Centre in Chauvigny, France.
‘Poisseau’ is a triel performance by composer Cristian Estrella (ARG/SK) and artists Christiane Candries (FR) and Sally Annett (FR/UK).
Candries and Annett paint live in the gallery space, in response to the piece of music created for the exhibition by Estrella. Poisseau, like the Melusine, is a creature of the water who can also fly, half bird, half fish a chimeric or angelic being.
